This website and service are operated by FinishTab. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to FinishTab. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By purchasing our custom-engraved medal tabs (“Service”) either directly through our website or via an integrated third-party race registration platform, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

SECTION 1 - THE SERVICE & AUTOMATED DATA INTEGRATION

FinishTab provides personalized, custom-engraved inserts designed to fit sports event medals.

  • By opting into our Service during an event registration, you grant us permission to securely retrieve your official race results—including but not limited to your Full Name, Bib Number, Certified Finish Time, and Shipping Address—from the event’s official timing partner or registration platform database.
  • Data Accuracy: FinishTab relies entirely on the data provided by official race timers and registration platforms. We are not responsible or liable for spelling mistakes, formatting issues, or incorrect finish times submitted to us by the event organizers or third-party platforms.

SECTION 2 - PERSONALIZATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

Because every FinishTab is completely custom-engraved with your unique name and official finish time, all sales are final.

  • No Refunds or Exchanges: Once an item has been engraved, we cannot accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges if you change your mind, choose not to run the race, or are disqualified from the event.
  • Event Cancellation: In the event that a race is completely canceled by organizers prior to execution, refunds or vouchers will be subject to the specific agreement established between FinishTab and the respective race organization.

SECTION 3 - SHIPPING & DELIVERY LIABILITIES

We utilize tracked international and domestic postal networks to deliver your FinishTab directly to your mailbox after the event.

  • Fulfillment Timeline: Engraving and dispatch typically begin within 1 to 2 following race day.
  • Shipping Address: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the shipping address attached to your race registration profile is accurate and up to date. FinishTab is not responsible for items lost, misdirected, or delayed due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the user.
  • Loss or Damage in Transit: Once a package is handed over to the postal service and assigned a tracking number, risk of loss passes to the buyer. While we will assist in locating missing shipments via tracking, FinishTab is not financially liable for delays or failures caused by local or international postal carrier operations.

SECTION 4 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & ERRORS

We do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted or error-free on race day due to external server downtimes or API disconnections. In no case shall FinishTab, our directors, officers, or employees be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of our service or physical products.

SECTION 5 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and any legal disputes will be handled within the jurisdiction of the commercial courts of Bergerac, France.
